Overview
Ladder is a design exploration that's included in my research topic of "Neet" Group.
"Neet" means "Not in Employment, education, and training." In 2015, there were nearly 10.2 million NEETS ages 16 to 29 in the U.S., or 16.9% of that age bracket’s total population, according to a new Pew Research Center analysis of data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
In this design, I explore the daily struggle of the NEET group-their social awkwardness and their low-willing to engage with the society or speak for themselves.

Ladder: Imporve your social skills
The app has 4 sections, each with guidance to help Neet with speak/physical interaction skill. The first section is handshakes, which users can shake their phone as to shake hands. The attention is for user to get ready to engage with other people.
The conversation sections have an archive for potential questions that might get brought up during networking & job interview, and give answering tips for users to get a reference from. It's to help them build a reflection for certain questions that they might not be considered before.
The pressure of unemployment can cause a huge emotional burden. By lifting the burden on step at a time. For example, an app that can walk the user through networking to getting a job. Can a product help with life situation as long as emotional strength?
Design process: wireframe & prototypes
Also I tested this App as a perfermance piece at UIC Art School open house where me and my partner present it as a startup group trying to sell this app.
